Skateboarding


Skateboarding is an activity which involves riding and performing tricks on a skateboard. It requires balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and power. It puts demand on ligaments and muscles but from only one direction. Skateboarding can be ambidextrous. But commonly skateboarders stand on their skateboard facing one direction and so favour one side of the body. One sided skateboarding causes an increase in the development of muscles down one side of the body.
